Single Bowline Knot
The Single Bowline is a great knot to know for trad climbers. This is a slick, quick, easy way to tie up and incorporate threaders, large blocks or trees into a 3 piece trad anchor. It's virtues are that is easy to tie and untie even after it has been put under a heavy load. However, if this knot were to be attached to something moving (such as a climber's harness) it would need some extra reinforcement to stay put. Watch the video to see what we mean.
