Caesar & Gus - Head Trainers
Caesar and Gus are the leading trainers within the professional toddler rock climbing community. Our Stone Adventures Rock Climbing Guides would be lost without their deep understanding of Joshua Tree and its vast opportunities for the modern-day climber. Caesar and Gus started out late in life and didn’t discover climbing until they were two months old. Despite those obstacles, they have quickly surpassed even their parents in knowledge and ability. Our guides are expected to obtain the normal certifications and licenses, but nothing compares to the rigorous training program these two created specially to fit the Stone Adventures brand. Without a doubt, our Stone Adventures guests should feel safe knowing that our guides have been trained by these climbing prodigies.
“We are hands on trainers. We get our guides out in the field every moment we can so that we can really gauge their progress. I believe it was Aristotle who once said ‘Excellence is not a an act, but a habit’ and we really live by that here. ” – Gus
“Curating an educational curriculum, testing out equipment, and a guide pep talk can happen all before nap time. Even after it's dark out, Gus and I are up brainstorming in the soft glow of our night lights.” - Caesar
