The Figure 8 Follow-Thru

This is the most common way climbers "tie-in," or attach the rope to their harness. The Figure 8 is known as one of the strongest knots in the world. Why? Because it has no sharp bends and little chance of unraveling.

Follow along and try trying this knot. If you haven't already, please tie this knot (and all other knots in this class) over and over until you can get it tied correctly 3 times in a row!
